Morning rush on Sunday morning slowed down traffic on Dubai roads, with heavy congestion on Mohammed Bin Zayed Road towards Dubai from Sharjah.
According to TrafficDXB on Twitter, an accident was reported D68 Al Khail Road after Al Jaddaf near Dubai Mall exit towards Abu Dhabi, causing congestion and tailback.
Another accident on D61 Hessa Street before Al Khail Road exit towards Sheikh Zayed Road. The road is experiencing slow moving traffic.
Heavy traffic congestion were reported on S116 Maliha Road, E611-Emirates Road between E88 Al Dhaid Road and Maliha Road intersection towards Abu Dhabi.
According to Google Maps data, huge tailbacks were observed on Sheikh Zayed Road towards Dubai from Sharjah. Slow moving traffic was also observed on Sheikh Zayed Road's E11 - from Al Nahda street towards Dubai.
Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternate routes wherever possible.
