There's good news for motorists going for vehicle licence renewal at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) service centers. Now, you can avoid the long queues there.
The authority has announced that motorists can now go online and check if their car is eligible for vehicle renewal tests.

1. Test

Have your vehicle been tested. Visit any vehicle testing center (check the nearest location on the RTA website)
2. Insure
Insure your vehicle
3. Log on?
Log on to www.rta.ae and select drivers and vehicles service without a password
4. Pay?
Pay fines and fees by a credit card
5. Print
Print your temporary registration card
6. Get it delivered?

Select the delivery of your permanent registration card by courier or collect it from RTA
