RTA to hold 95th Open Auction tomorrow

Bidders have until 4.30pm tomorrow to participate at the 95th Open Auction of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) at Al Ameera Ballroom in Grand Hyatt Hotel. On offer are 80 exclusive car plates, including two, three, four and five-digit codes.
Sultan Al-Marzooki, director of Vehicles Licensing at RTA's Licensing Agency, said: "RTA's auctions witness huge footfall from various community segments as they contribute immensely to our strategic goal of bringing happiness to people. We are therefore keen to make (this) auction another chance for the public to engage in positive bidding for their fancied numbers in various codes."
Expecting to fetch high prices are binary numbers like O 69, triple numbers topped by W 999, quadruple numbers featured by P 4444 and O 6666 and quintet plates such as S 66666 and K 88888.
During the auction, the RTA will also conduct a complimentary draw on plate H 624 and offer it as a prize to one of the attending bidders as part of endeavours towards RTA's 3rd Strategic Goal: People Happiness, added Al-Marzooki.
Interested bidders can register at RTA's customers happiness centers in Umm Al Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha, and through RTA's website or app.
