Massive traffic jams have been reported in various parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai on Monday morning.

In the capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter at 8:17am to report an accident on  Khaleej Al Arabi Street before Mohamed bin Khalifa Street inbound. The left lane has been blocked. The incident caused heavy delays and snarls, which was cleared at 8:31am.

Meanwhile, in Dubai, an accident was reported on E311 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road towards Dubai-Al Ain Road, according to Google Map reports.

Motorists coming in from Karama towards the Dubai World Trade Centre faced delays in the morning.

Heavy congestion was reported on E11 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road, Dubai-Al Ain Road, Al Warqa Street and along the E66 intersection near Dubai Silicon Oasis.
