Several accidents across the UAE have been delaying motorists since morning.
According to a tweet from Dubai Police, a multi-vehicle accident on Rebat Street in Dubai heading towards Mirdif, has resulted in traffic delays.  Motorists have been advised to drive safely and carefully around that area.

The occurrence of another accident involving multiple vehicles has also been reported on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai after the Umm Al Sheif bridge heading towards Abu Dhabi.
Massive traffic jams had been reported in various parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai on Thursday.
In the capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter earlier during the day to report an accident on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street before Mussafah Bridge outbound. The incident had caused heavy delays and snarls.
The motorist had also faced heavy delays after a vehicle caught on fire on Shk Zayed Bridge inbound. The right lanes had been blocked. The incident site was cleared later.
Another accident was reported at 7:18am on Shk Zayed Street after Ministries Underpass Exit to Maqta Bridge. The right lane has been blocked.
Meanwhile, in Dubai Police reported an accident through their official Twitter handle. "A multi-vehicle traffic accident on Al Ittihad rd towards Sharjah, resulting in traffic delays. Please drive safely and carefully," the tweet read.
