In the capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter at 7:21am to report an accident on Sheikh Zayed Street after Hazza bin Zayed Street outbound. The left lane has been blocked. The incident caused heavy delays and snarls, which was cleared at 7.34am.

Another accident was reported at 08:01am on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street after Salama bint Butti exit inbound. The middle lane has been blocked. The incident caused heavy delays, which was cleared at 08:25am.

Motorist faced heavy delays after the left road track has been closed due an accident on E10 Abu Dhabi - Al Shahama Rd after Yas Island bridges complex inbound.

Meanwhile, in Dubai, heavy congestion was reported on E11 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road, Dubai-Al Ain Road, Al Warqa Street and along the E66 intersection near Dubai Silicon Oasis.
