Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has migrated the vehicle mortgage procedures to e-services in collaboration with mortgagors, banks and dealers.
The RTA's Licensing Agency has launched the Online Vehicle Mortgage Addition servic as the second phase of Vehicles Mortgage Addition/Redemption scheme initiated in 2013.
Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of RTA's Licensing Agency, said: "Implementation of Phase II of the scheme is already underway through the self-service improvement system known as 'SDDI' system. The system slashes the time and cost of transactions processing, besides reducing the paper work, which conforms to one of RTA's key strategic goals
"The RTA seeks to implement the Dubai Ruler's vision of reducing the number of customers visiting customer service centres by providing easy and safe services."
