Get involved in the UAE’s only consumer travel event this October

LONELY PLANET TRAVELLER Middle East is bringing its ‘Global travel inspiration from local experts’ tagline to life and creating a new national day of travel on Wednesday, October 2, to inspire and encourage consumers to book holidays.

So what will National Travel Day involve? It will comprise of two free evening events happening simultaneously.

From 7pm the Media One hotel will be the venue to bring adventurers face to face with experts who can give advice on everything from travel photography, social media and blogging to climbing Everest. Speakers include Peeta Planet and Omar Samra from Wild Guanabana.

Wafi Rooftop will be turned into a free open air cinema where travel and nature documentaries will be shown courtesy of film production company Conscious Captivation. Pull up a beanbag, grab some popcorn and enjoy this year’s best cinema event at 7.30pm.

The day will also involve plenty of discounts and giveaways and a huge discount email newsletter to go out to around 20,000 people chock full of special discount codes and offers to get the UAE’s consumers travelling.
