With the National Day holidays recently being announced, it comes as a no-brainer that Dubai residents are already getting their weekend planners filled up with things to do. But if you're part of the population that still doesn't have any specific plans for the long weekend, then we have you covered.

Take the Big Red Bus

If you've been to Dubai a fair bit, then you're not stranger to the double-decker bus moving around the streets of Dubai usually laden with tourists on the top tier. Why not be a tourist for a day and hop on the eponymous bus? The Big Red Bus has routes that take you to city's notable landmarks from the Burj Khalifa up to the Palm Jumeirah.

Go for a splash on the beach or in waterparks

There is a brief interim period between summer and winter where the waters in the beach is not too hot or too cold. Take advantage of this by going for a swim or maybe get that perfect tan.
