Dubai - The Dubai Police has advised motorists to seek alternative routes.

The Dubai Police and the Dubai Civil Defense have rescued 14 sailors after a fire broke out in a wooden boat in Ras Al Khor area in Dubai.

The Dubai Police said in a tweet on that the incident took place in an area close to the floating bridge.

The police added the area was closed to public traffic as a precaution and traffic was diverted.
