Fujairah Police is investigating the death of a 27-year-old Emirati national whose body was found in his car which was parked near Marbah Dam area.
Lt, Col. Saeed Rashid Al Hamoodi, Director of the Marbah Police Station said the man seemed to have been dead since Sunday morning.
He further explained that they received a call from young men who were playing football around the area, notifying the police that they saw a man who was sleeping for hours in his car and tried to wake him up, but there was no response.
The police team immediately rushed to the area and found the man identified as S.A.I already dead. The police shifted the body to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
A patrol officer also told the police that on Sunday that he has seen the car in the area, but thought that the owner was enjoying the weather and the view of the dam.
