Over two weeks since the Crown Prince of Dubai first announced the birth of his third child, fans of the UAE royal were treated to a first look of his newborn baby boy.
Sharing the wonderful moment with his 15 million-strong fan following, Sheikh Hamdan posted the precious moment with a simple caption, "May Allah protect them".
The first of two photos is truly iconic and one for the books, as it features three generations of the Dubai royal family. Proud grandfather His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is seen gazing lovingly at his newborn grandson with a smiling Sheikh Hamdan in the background.
The newest addition to the royal family — named Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum and born two weeks ago on February 25 — is seen nestling in a cosy beige blanket with beautiful golden trimmings. The tiny royal, whose face cannot be seen, is all wrapped up, the top of his white beanie cap visible as his grandfather holds him.
The Crown Prince also shared a second image – this one of himself, dressed in a classic white kandoura, holding his youngest son.
Baby Mohammed has two other siblings — twins Sheikha and Rashid, born on May 21, 2021. Spotted numerous times on their father's social media accounts, they have gathered a fan following of their own.
In the most recent instance, Sheikh Hamdan's first son went viral on the UAE President's birthday. The Crown Prince had posted an Instagram video showing his son Rashid wobbling up towards a portrait of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan — before giving it a sweet kiss.
The Dubai Crown Prince is heard thanking the child — but for little Rashid, one peck wasn't enough. He went back to the image and planted another kiss to the delight of viewers, who left over 7,000 comments on the post.
