Following the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the Fujairah Police on Monday announced a 50 per cent discount on traffic fines, starting November 25, 2017 until January 4, 2018.
In a post on their official Instagram account, Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, said that the decision is based on the directions of the Crown Prince, and is in line with UAE's Year of Giving initiative, as well as the the upcoming National Day.
Fujairah Police is focusing on implementing initiatives that could improve user experience, and allow residents to use traffic-related services easily, he said.
