When: Every day in cinemas, timings may differ
Where: Cinemas across UAE
Raees or Kaabil? The two much-awaited Bollywood films released in the UAE earlier this week and Bollywood-savvy residents are going to be taking to the cinemas to see either one. Which one will you pick?

Porsches tear up the track

When: January 27
Where: Dubai Autodrome
The 3rd round of the Porsche GT3 Cup is taking place this Friday at the Autodrome. See drivers take part in the region's most professional and successful one-make race series.

Watch paddlers race along the Dubai Canal

When: January 27 and 28, 8AM-5:30PM
Where: Marasi Business Bay
This is a free event
For two intense days, paddlers in Dubai will compete on dragonboats along the new Dubai Canal. If you happen to be around the Canal this weekend, you'd be surprised at the extra sight to see. Watching the races are completely free.

Cheer the triathletes

When:  January 27
Where: Jumeirah Public Beach
This is a free event
While you might not be able to participate anymore, you can still cheer on your friends and other triathletes during the Ironman 70.3 in Dubai. Starting 7AM, participants will take on 1.9km of swimming, 90km of cycling and 21.1km of running.

Have free movies with the kids

When: January 27 and 28
Where: Dubai Marina Mall
This is a free event
For two days, you can take the kids out at the Promenade in Dubai Marina Mall where they're showing several children's movies free of charge. Be sure to get warm clothing since the films are going to be shown outdoors.

Where: Reform Social and Grill

Witness a celebration of the arts

Where: Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz
This is a free event
Now on its fifth edition, Quoz Arts Fest in Dubai's bohemian hideaway - Alserkal Avenue is bringing the best of the city's local talent. All the galleries will be hosting exhibitions and there will be many opportunities to experience workshops, stage performances and even take photos with art installtions.
