The Abu Dhabi Pensions Fund has announced that it will hold awareness workshops for employers every Tuesday.
The sessions will aim to raise the awareness level of employers registered at the fund by explaining Law number 2 of the year 2000 regarding retirement pensions and benefits, and the fund's services.
Employers will be told about the benefits of using fund's website www.pension.gov.ae and social media for services and information, thus reducing transaction time. The fund is also active on twitter handle @ADPension.
These workshops will help increase the rates of compliance from employers in terms of the submission of active members' registration forms, retirement pensions' end of service forms or indemnity and monthly contribution statements, payment of monthly contributions and merging previous service. Employers can also discuss the challenges they face with the fund's staff.
Abu Dhabi Pensions Fund Director-General Khalaf Abdulla Rahma Al Hammadi called upon all employers to benefit from such sessions.
"In light of the key role played by employers as one of the fund's main stakeholders, where they are key to active members' registration, data update and as suppliers of monthly contributions, we allocated a day of the week to spread awareness among employers, to answer their queries and to train their employees on the use of electronic services provided by the fund.
"We are keen on helping employers overcome challenges by providing solutions to strengthen our partnership for the benefit of members and to provide the highest levels of retirement services," Al Hammadi added.
Employers can register on the fund's website to be part of the session.
Earlier, the fund had conducted awareness workshops for members and employers by field visits. So far this year, the fund has conducted 129 awareness workshops for newly registered entities and 89 explanatory workshops to help entities facing challenges in timely date delivery and timely payments of monthly contributions.
Also, those who want to know their probable end of service benefits and pension, can use the electronic calculator on the website and on the fund's application available on both Android and iOS systems.
