The Community Police Department of the Ajman Police General Command has implemented 26 initiatives in the first half of 2017 as part of its ongoing efforts to integrate the police into the community and to achieve community justice. 
The police also conducted 110 awareness lectures on various subjects to achieve the Ministry of Interior's strategic objective of enhancing public satisfaction with the services provided. 
Colonel Abdullah Saif Al Matroushi, deputy director of the Ajman Police, said that the department is striving to achieve community justice for a happy society and to build a generation that is aware of social security and is capable of facing electronic crimes.
He added that the community police projects included four security initiatives, five humanitarian initiatives, 11 community initiatives, five health initiatives and other religious initiatives.
The Ajman Police are keen to reach out to expat communities in the emirate by holding special events and discussions on various issues and listening to their suggestions and concerns. The police also carried out 110 security awareness lectures, which were attended by 16,868 students of private and public schools. 
Col Al Matroushi stressed that the Ajman Police will continue to strive to achieve greater relations with the members of the community to enhance security and safety in the emirate.
