The biggest human mosaic of the UAE flag and logo of Ministry of Interior organized by Ajman police to celebrate its golden jubilee failed to enter the record books.
Around 6,000 people including students, employees, labourers and people from various sectors of the society came together at the Ajman stadium on Monday to carry the plates to be used to form the flag and logo of Ministry of Interior in order to break the record of the last human mosaic held in Iraq with 4,000 people participation.
Commander-in-Chief of the Ajman Police, Major-General Shaikh Sultan Al Nuaimi, said that the department prepared well for the event as part of its celebration of the Golden Jubilee, but unfortunately the shape of the flag and logo could not be completed in time for the helicopter to take picture, which was one of the Guinness committee condition.
Major-General Al Nuaimi said they will soon make another appointment with Guinness committee to re-organise and complete the missing part of the logo and the flag.
He said that the event also featured an honoring ceremony for police strategic partners and was attended by 8,000 people from Ajman and other emirates including artist, singer, social media stars and actors.
The Ajman Police will continue the celebration throughout the year with special activities including cultural, education and sport programs to be held every month.
