India's national carrier is flying high and how. Celebrating womanhood, Air India and Air India Express on Wednesday operated five flights from India to the UAE with an all women crew.
At Abu Dhabi International Airport check-in was done by all women staff.
And the staff was jubilant as they celebrated their success.
Shaiby said: "Women and men around the world supporting Women's Day is wonderful."
Another staff Agy said: "What better way to celebrate Women's Day then to shine light on the ladies who have contributed to the society with their talent and success."
Axeena, was forthcoming, as she said: "A woman can perform all the duties of a man but a man can't do all that a woman can do."
Lavena was candid and said: "We feel appreciated and acknowledged for our contribution."
Meanwhile, Air India has said to have become the first airline to fly around the world with an all-female crew.
"AirIndia creates world record - All-women crew around the world," the airline said in a statement on Facebook.
Air India has applied for a Guinness World Record and Limca Record to mark the occasion, part of a series of all-women flights scheduled to mark the International Women's Day.
Air India has also introduced third row on domestic sector only for women.
