The artificial intelligence department of the Dubai Police has launched virtual assistant Amena to help provide all Dubai Police services on its smart apps.
Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razzouqi, director-general of the artificial intelligence department at the Dubai Police, called on the public to take advantage of the service, which provides faster transactions in a more efficient manner.
"The opening window of the Dubai smart app will have an image of Amena. People can press the image, give voice commands for the services they need and complete the transactions.
"Amena is in the process of learning and the more used the greater the ability to understand the questions and answer them better," he added.
He pointed out that some of the services provided by Amena - certificates, queries, traffic violations, night work permits, complaints and smart services."
He said the artificial intelligence team in cooperation with other departments of the Dubai Police aims to transfer all services provided to the public through smartphones.
These smart initiatives are being introduced under the directives of Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, commander-in-chief of the Dubai Police.
