The Public Health and Safety Department at Dubai Municipality has responded to the recent rumours related to deodorants causing cancer.
It states that there are no reliable scientific studies confirming that the used aluminum compounds are harmful. The mentioned causes are so far unknown and are under studies by the International accredited bodies.
The Municipality assured that the products are effectively controlled to ensure that they are safe and meet the approved requirements.
Taking to social media to inform residents, DM posted this clarification on Instagram:

Recently, the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) warned the public against spreading rumors on social media that there were some bad and unsafe food items in the markets.
