Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, a staunch Macron ally, says it is 'out of the question' to join or even back a government that raised taxes

"The idea is to create a time capsule of our times, so in the future, people will understand how we lived our lives," Argentine artist and designer Paula Zuccotti said while photographing the day in the life of citizens in the UAE. She was doing a live performance exhibition at the Dubai Design Week at d3.
The concept follows a 'What's in your bag'esque approach. Volunteer participants submit an inventory of everything they've touched in the past 24 hours, and Zuccotti works her magic by arranging the items in chronological order to tell a story and create a visual diary.
The artist has traveled the world to photograph the objects used by people across cultures, ages, and occupations, to garner a 'real people, real stories' approach. Her four-year long (and continuous) project with over 80 such photographs has been compiled into a book, Every Thing We Touch: A 24-Hour Inventory of Our Lives.
So far, the artist-designer has been to Tokyo, Shanghai, Jerusalem, Melbourne, Seattle, among other cities to further her project.
Each photoshoot takes four hours, arranging of the items included. Yet, she has been clicking with the purpose to understand and grasp different cultures. "This is an X-ray of your life. I return from each city with lots of stories about their culture," Zuccotti said.
