We are celebrating UAE's 48^th National Day with pride. As someone who has spent 32 years of life with my family in this oasis of peace and prosperity, we continue to uphold the Vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to transform the UAE into a leading nation. As we enter the exciting year ahead, we at Aster DM Healthcare re-affirm our commitment to continue serving the community.
International excellence, locally
The healthcare sector is a key pillar in the UAE's Vision 2021, with an emphasis on ensuring that the healthcare system in the UAE is on par with international standards. At Aster DM Healthcare, we share this common vision.

This year we announced the launch of our research and innovation hub, developing the most advanced, sustainable solutions to make healthcare easy to access. Serving the community to achieve a common vision
2019 was the Year of Tolerance and the UAE has provided a home for people from over 200 nationalities residing in UAE in harmony. This is testament to the work of the visionary rulers of the UAE, who have created a safe, diverse, forward-looking nation.
At Aster DM Healthcare, we aim to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to all population segments in society through our three brands - Aster, Medcare and Access. Over the last 32 years, we have been consistent in our mission and have continued to provide affordable healthcare to the community, pushing boundaries of excellence in healthcare.
Our Aster Volunteers program, a global initiative that connects those in need with volunteers, continues to be at the forefront of community development. In 2019 alone, the program impacted more than 1.3 million lives, with over 8,000 volunteers.
An integrated approach to healthcare
Aster DM Healthcare is one of the few integrated healthcare service originations in the UAE. We have a world-class network of hospitals, clinics and pharmacies across the UAE, providing healthcare services ranging from primary, secondary, tertiary to quaternary medical care.
We are on track to deliver two new hospitals in the UAE by 2020 in Sonapur (40+ beds) and Sharjah (80+ beds). As we focus on research into healthcare technology, we continue on our journey of shaping the healthcare delivery infrastructure of the UAE.

Aster DM Healthcare went from a single clinic in Bur Dubai 32 years ago to a leading healthcare conglomerate, operating 350 facilities across 9 countries. We are inspired by the country's leadership, vision and mission, who have continuously raised the bar for development across every sector and are honored to have developed alongside the country.
Next year will mark a key milestone, with the UAE hosting the EXPO 2020, showcasing the country and its achievements on a global stage, further boosting the economy.
