Corniche Hospital in Abu Dhabi welcomed its first Eid babies of 2016 during the first few hours of the day.
The hospital announced nine newborns (4 boys and 5 girls) were delivered until mid-day today. Proud parents have received the sacred gift on the auspicious day of Eid Al Fitr and were jubilant with a new addition to their family. The arrival of newborn babies brought an exuberant atmosphere at the hospital.
The first Eid baby to be born at the Corniche Hospital was the baby of Ms. Kawthar Dasoalla, she was ecstatic with joy as she lovingly embraced her baby for the first time.
Meeting with the delighted parents, Ms. Linda Clark, CEO, Corniche Hospital said, "We are thrilled to be a part of this joyous moment of all the families who have received the greatest news on this sacred day of Eid Al Fitr. The lovely smile on the faces of families gives us pure satisfaction and encourages us to do our best to support their happiness."
The second newborn baby of Ms. Jawaher Ghawas was handed over to his proud father, who held his tiny bundle of joy and was enthralled to see the first smile of his baby and snuggled him tightly in his arms.
The mother of the third Eid baby, Ms. Mailene, said: "We feel blessed to receive such a wonderful surprise on this blessed day of Eid Al Fitr. This day has given us the most magnificent gift of our lifetime." Corniche Hospital is like an important part of our family; all the staff were so helpful and kind. We are really happy with the amenities provided to us here."
More babies are expected by the end of day and to mark the special day, each mother was visited by the Senior Leaders of the Hospital, and was presented with a gift hamper.
