Mohammed Khori, director of the Khalifa bin Zayed Centre for Humanitarian Work said the UAE government will continue its humanitarian work in Afghanistan and will not be affected by the terrorist attack which came in the Year of Giving announced by the UAE.He said the UAE is the largest country providing assistance to Afghanistan. The Iftar sayem project in cooperation of UNDP, child support project, digging of wells, construction of orphan-ages and the Khalifa bin Zayed Project for Technical Education are a few projects. The UAE also distributes food, medicine and tents in all of Afghanistan. He added that the UAE provides assistance to several countries including Afghanistan during disasters and denied that the UAE was targeted in the attacks. "We know there is terrorism in Afganistan and we will not stop our watch, but we want the Aghanistan government to bring the terrorists to justice," he added.
