Cold weather grips UAE as mercury drops to 6°C

It's another foggy day for some UAE residents. According to the National Center of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS), fog gripped parts of the UAE such as Liwa and Al Maktoum Airport in the wee hours of Monday.
Meteorologists have warned of fog formation over most internal and coastal areas, especially the central and western areas. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution amid poor visibility.
The weather forecast for today is fair to partly cloudy at times. Light to moderate winds in general. The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and tomorrow early morning with a chance of fog/mist formation over scattered areas.
The mercury will drop to a minimum of 6°C and reach a maximum of 29°C. Wear proper warm clothing to avoid getting sick, especially children.
Sea is slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf & Oman Sea.
