Kind-hearted and dedicated youngsters in Al Ain are working as volunteers to help implement the UAE's national sterilisation programme in the emirate to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
In a video on the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office Twitter account, several young men say they have got involved in the campaign given their sense of national responsibility and desire to support the UAE government's efforts to ensure the community's health and safety.

The sterilisation programme was launched on Thursday, March 26 and is being undertaken with the support and cooperation of several competent bodies and participation of hundreds of workers, supervisors and administrators from federal and local governments.
Daily sterilisation begins at 8pm until 6am the next day, while movement is restricted during that period.
Local authorities in each emirate will be able to draw and implement sterilisation plans that will accommodate the requirements of their own facilities and establishments.
