Flying on one of Emirates' special flights soon? Expect social distancing protocols right from the airport to the aircraft - plus cabin crew members donning hazmat gowns, visors, masks and gloves.
Emirates has stepped up precautionary measures at the airport and on board to ensure the health and safety of its employees and customers. All cabin crew, boarding agents and ground staff in direct contact with passengers will now wear full protective gear. At Dubai International Airport, gloves and masks are also mandatory for all customers and employees.
Physical distancing indicators have been placed on the ground and at waiting areas to help travellers maintain the necessary distance during check-in and boarding.
