In accordance with the higher directives in the emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah of Economic Development Department on Friday announced the reopening of malls, ladies' and gents' hairdressing salons, restaurants and cafeterias from Sunday (May 3).
The reopening is part of restriction-easing plans to open the economy based on implementing all precautionary measures and preventive procedures to protect public health.
The reopening of all commercial and services-provider establishments is in accordance to strict conditions and safety guidelines, which include: maintaining the occupancy ceiling of 30 per cent capacity; installing instruction and information signboards in the entrance of the premises to notify the shoppers of the number of visitors allowed; and the rules of social spacing that guarantee a distance of at least two metres between individuals.
According to the wise directives of the Government of Sharjah, SEDD announces the reopening of shopping malls, ladies and gentlemen salons, restaurants and cafeterias starting from Sunday 3/5/2020.
