A massive cleaning and sterilization of Dubai streets were carried out in the wee hours of Saturday, March 21, as precautionary measure against the spread of coronavirus.

Car parking areas, kerbs and streets were cleaned and sprayed with disinfectants to ensure the safety of residents.

The civic authority said thorough cleaning will be conducted in multiple phases starting with the Deira neighbourhood - Naid, AL Rigga, Muraqqabat, Baniyas , Abu Hail, AL Nahda and other areas.
