The statement added, “As a result, Etihad Airways is temporarily restricting the number of passengers carried between Abu Dhabi and Sydney from January 15 until February 15, 2021.”

The government of Australia has put in place biosecurity measures and travel restrictions to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Travellers returning to Australia are encouraged to contact Etihad Airways before departure to ensure their travel plans are not disrupted.

The spokesperson said, “We will work closely with impacted guests and travel agents to notify them of the changes to their itineraries and re-accommodate them on alternative flights.”

Guests who wish to contact the airline directly may reach out to the Etihad Airways contact centre for more information. Contact details are available at www.etihad.com/contacts.
