In the All India Secondary School Examination (Class X CBSE exams) results declared yesterday
Dharini Natarajan from Delhi Private School, Sharjah, has topped in the UAE with an aggregate of 96.2 per cent.
Commenting on the result, Ashok Ganguly, chairman of Central Board of Secondary Education said, “Girls have done much better than boys with 98.08 pass percentage compared to the boys’ pass percentage of 95.\30. The results have been very good this year. In fact, it shows an upward swing this year compared to the previous year. The pass percentage in the Gulf is 96.68 per cent, a three per cent increase from last year.”
A total of 9,861 students from 91 schools wrote the exam from the Gulf and about 659 students have got 90 per cent and above, of which 415 are girls and 244 are boys.
DUBAI
Indian High School
As many as 580 students sat for the exam and achieved 100 per cent results. Raziyya Ayesha topped the school with 95.4 per cent, setting a record of sorts for the school this year. Fathima Hazza and Siddharth Sundararaman shared the second slot with 95 per cent. Both Shailaja Krishnamurthy and Tanmay Rajendra Ramaiya came third with 94.8 per cent. Around 518 students out of 580 obtained 60 per cent, 12 secured 100 per cent and 24 students obtained 99 per cent in maths this year registering an impressive result.
Delhi Private School
Topper reactsA total of 50 students appeared for the exam. Hashir Mohamed secured top rank with 91per cent. Ruchi Dangwal got 89.8 per cent while Pooja Sunny and Yazhini Venkatachalam got 88 per cent each.
Our Own Indian School
Sixty-three students appeared for the exam. Jyotsna Gopikrishnan Nair secured the highest position with 91.20 per cent, Nikitha Pillai came second with 89.80 per cent and Anjali Murali third with 88.40 per cent
Our Own High School, Al Warqa’a
A total of 302 boys appeared in the exam and the school achieved 100 per cent results. Kunhal R. Lakhiani stood first with 92.4 per cent, Adarsh S.K. Nair second with 91.8 per cent and Akshay Hari Kumar third with 91.4 per cent.
New Indian Model School
The school sent 42 students for the exam and secured 100 per cent pass. Sreelakshmi Dinesan topped with 94.8 per cent and the second position was shared by Soumya Shaw Nawaz and T.Bini Balan with 92.2 per cent. Bismin Babu Varghese stood third with 90.2 per cent.
The Millennium School
Fifty-five students appeared for the exam and the school achieved 100 per cent results. While K.S. Savithry topped the school with 93 per cent, Shanavas Sameer came second with 86 per cent.
Gulf Indian High School
Fifty-nine students appeared for the exam and the school registered 100 per cent results. Serene Marylyn George came first with 89.8 per cent, followed by Athira Asarikandiyil 89 per cent. Fatema Daud and Laveena shared the third place with 87.6 per cent.
Our Own English High School
Jacqueline Chung and Kristen Chung have come first with 95 per cent, Alisha Cynthia D’Souza came second with 94.2 per cent and Neeraja Sankar came third with 93.6 per cent.
The Central School
Out of the 55 students who appeared, Reshma Nazini notched the first position with an aggregate of 88 per cent, followed by Fatima Fazal Ali 85.4 per cent and Shahnaz Begum third with 79.2 percent.
Emirates English Speaking School
Sixty students sat for the exam. Nikita Manoj Punwani clinched the top spot with 84.2 per cent, Arwa Kezar came second with 81 per cent and Hina Om Lokwani was placed third with 78.8 per cent.
ABU DHABI
Abu Dhabi Indian School
A total of 288 students appeared in the exam and the school achieved 100 per cent pass. Anindya Gautam scored 95 per cent, followed by Sayan Pramanik and Karthikey Shirish Surineni scoring 94.8 per cent. Four students - Akik Biswas, Jijin Satheesh, Karan K Shetty and Ajay Jacob Thomas - secured 94.8 per cent.
Al Noor Indian Islamic School
A total of 51 students appeared and the school had 100 per cent results. Shameema clinched the top position with 88.4 per cent.
Indian Islahi Islamic School
Of the 75 students who appeared in the exam, Suroor Ahsan Pary topped with 4 A1 and one A 2, Mehar Haneef coming second with 4 A1 and one B1. Hibah Ibrahim came third with 3 A1 and 2 A2.
St. Joseph’s School
A total of 56 students appeared for the exam and the school achieved 100 per cent results. Pallavi Sathya Babu came first with 95.6 per cent, Nikita Venugopalan scored 94.6 per cent and while Jovita Maria Pinto came third with 94.4 per cent
Wisdom High School
Thirty-three students appeared for the exam and the school posted 100 per cent results. Ivin Rachel Koshy stood first with 90.8 per cent, Feby Philip Abraham got 89.4 per cent and Chindu Narayan got 86.8 per cent.
Our Own English High School
The school recorded 100 per cent results. Chandini Sunillal came first with 93.6 per cent, Chinta Payyankeril Mathew second with 92.8 per cent and Ganesh Ayalur Ramakrishnan third with 92.6 per cent.
SHARJAH
The Emirates National School
The school has achieved 100 per cent pass. Sandra Ann Jacob topped with 94 per cent followed by Shahin Nazer with 92.2 per cent and Mohammed Shabaz Moosa came third with 91.8 per cent.
Delhi Private School
As many as168 students appeared for the exam. Avijit Bandyopadhyay came second with 95.2per cent and Reuben Benjamin George third with 95 per cent.
Gulf Asian English School
A total of 64 students appeared for the Grade X Board examination and the school achieved 100 per cent results. Shefna Abdul Aziz came first with 90 per cent, followed by Anusuya Magudeswaran 87.5per cent. Sermeen Sultana came third with 84.5per cent
Sharjah Indian School
The school sent 283 students for the exam. Suhas Anand Lohit scored 94.8 per cent to come first, followed by Swati J. Nair 94.4 per cent and Muhammed Nassif 93 per cent.
Radiant School
Saswati Mishra stood first closely followed by Pranati Mishra, who stood second.
Our Own English High School
The school recorded 100 per cent results. Krishnasruthi Srivalsan clinched the first place with 95 per cent, followed by Fatima Khan 94.8 per cent and Laveena Mariam John 94.2 per cent.
RAS AL KHAIMAH
Indian Public High School
As many as 39 students appeared for the exam and the school registered 100 per cent results. Manish Kanayalal topped the school with 91.8 per cent, Aji Alex Aruparayil stood second with 91.2 per cent and Ancy Thomas third with 90.6 per cent.

Seventy-eight students appeared for the exam and the school secured 100 per cent results. Nirmal Georgie Ninan came first with 92.8 per cent, Nishitha Mohan stood second with 92.6 per cent. Athul Murali and John George stood third with 90.8 per cent each.
Scholars Indian School
A total of 17 pupils appeared for the exam and the school secured 100 per cent results. Haleema topped by scoring 87.4 per cent followed by Juwaria, who stood second scoring 86.4 per cent.
The Ideal English School
The school sent 20 students for the exam. Nyza Nazari topped with 91 per cent and Mohd Hamid came second with 80 per cent

Our Own English High School
The school posted 100 per cent results. Sreyus Palliyani and Mariam Firoz Khan shared the top honour with 93.4 per cent while V Chithraa stood second with 93 per cent, followed by Nikhitha Mariam Jacob 90.4 per cent.
Indian School
As many as 68 students appeared for the exam and the school achieved 100 per cent results. Eesha Rana topped with 91.4 per cent, Jissa Mary George came second with 90 per cent and Christina Daisy Philips and Drishya Devasia shared the third position with 89.8 per cent.
Global English School
The school has registered 100 per cent pass results. Jyothas Oullasin bagged the first position with 88.2 per cent, Lavanya Raghavan stood second with 87.8 per cent and Reshmi Joseph scored 87.6 per cent and stood third.
Al Ain Juniors School
The school achieved 100 per cent results. Tanu Thakur stood first with 91 per cent followed by Arjun Vasukutan with 89 per cent, Zubeda Mohiddin and Thara Sivan scored 88.6 per cent each.
Darul Huda Islamic School
Thirty-eight students appeared for the exam and the school secured 100 per cent pass. Mariyambi Ahmed stood first with 87.6 per cent, Muzammil came second with 86.2 per cent and Nazeema Rayin third with 85.4 per cent.
AJMAN
International Indian School
The school achieved 100 per cent results. Anjana Baiju came first with 89.2 per cent, Rinku George came second with 85.8 per cent and Hilas came third with 82.6 per cent
Ajman Intermediate English School
Roshni Hamskutty topped the school, Jayaram Pandit came second and Abin came third.
Indian School
As many as 50 students appeared for the exam. Sajan Rajagopal topped the school with 89 per cent, Varsha Oomen came second with 88 per cent and Anam came third with 87 per cent.
FUJAIRAH
Our Own English High School — All 31 candidates were successful with an average of 74.8 per cent. Beulah Sarah James topped the school with an overall average of 91.2 per cent, Shilpa Mary Cheriyan was second in the school with 90 per cent.
Modern Indian School, Dibba — Hamida Hussain topped with 88.8 per cent, followed by Shameena 87.6 per cent and Jilby Elina John 83.4 per cent.
