dubai - The Business Awareness Section-Business Protection Unit of the Department of Economic Development (DED) has recently visited a number of beauty parlours in Al Warqa and Mirdiff neighbourhoods in Dubai.
Themed "Voices Traders Initiative-Beauty salons', the visit was aimed at meeting the businesswomen of the parlours and encourage them to express their views, remarks and proposals.
It was also designed to enlighten them about the procedures of Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection sector as well as the trade laws pertaining to the intellectual property rights and protection of businesses in the emirate.
The objective of the initiative included opening communication channels between the beauty parlours and the sector.
Scheduled visits will be made later to cover all the trade sectors related to women's businesses in various parts of Dubai.
