It was a landmark occasion with Pakistan and the West Indies getting ready for their tryst with day-night Test cricket as well as Pakistan set to celebrate their 400th Test.
And with Dubai getting the honour to be a part of history, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) came up with a novel idea for the unveiling of the trophy. Normally, it is the title sponsor of the series, who unveils the trophy along with the two captains.
But the PCB and their stakeholders decided to celebrate the fans by inviting a Dubai taxi driver for the unveiling.
Zabat Khan got a once in a lifetime opportunity and stood proudly in between Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq and West Indies skipper Jason Holder.
The PCB and their stakeholders had initiated the concept titled 'Yeh Game Fans Ki Hai,' to celebrate Pakistan cricket fans in Dubai and the UAE.
