Government departments and establishments from the UAE, the region and the world will showcase their smart achievements and online services at the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition, which begins on Monday.
Emirati and international government entities will also display their projects and initiatives that revolve around their smart services and channels of communication with their customers to ensure their happiness and satisfaction.
The three-day exhibition will see the participation of various bodies from Chile, Estonia, Denmark, Ireland, France, Norway, Canada, Morocco, among many other countries.
Abdullah Al Shaibani, secretary-general of Dubai Executive Council and chairman of Dubai Government Excellence Programme, expressed his pleasure with the international character of the exhibition.

He highlighted the integration of Dubai's smart services, which government bodies started to display in line with the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to upgrade government services on a par with highest international standards.

Dubai's government bodies will highlight their smart services in their efforts for the true and optimal implementation of Shaikh Mohammed's initiative that aims to turn e-government into a smart government that provides 24-hour services to the public.
Dr Ahmad Al Nusairat, coordinator general of Dubai Government Excellence Programme, said, "We expect that the first day will see the showcase of smart services and achievements by all government departments.
"The exhibition will offer an ideal environment and an integrated platform for public departments to highlight their achievements and outstanding smart services.
"The participation of government entities in the exhibition stems from their keenness on providing best quality services to customers. "Dubai is moving steadily and confidently to ensure the well-being and happiness of all people in the emirate."
