These are key words that describe Dubai Garden Glow - a recreational park which explores a unique world of imagination with a skillful blend of art and theme creating an amazing concept. It is the largest 'glow-in-the-dark garden' made of millions of energy saving bulbs and is designed to fascinate people of all age groups. Apart from its creative installations, there are live musical shows and other performances as well. There is also a special edutainment zone where children can experience interactive fun and excitement in all its splendour. I was fortunate enough to be chosen to be in the feature video of Dubai Garden Glow in collaboration with Khaleej Times and it is my pleasure to share my special experience of this magnificent destination. Do you all remember watching the movie Jurassic Park? Well, now it's right here in Dubai! I ventured through the Dinosaur Park to discover the World of Dinosaurs - the most magnificent creatures that have inhabited our planet. I was truly amazed to see actual live sized figures of various species of dinosaurs in picturesque habitats, making sounds and even grasping things! Not only are these animals designed and crafted to entertain, but they also educate us with a ton of information; dinosaurs having placards in front of them which provide us with fun facts and other important details about the particular dinosaur. But wait! There is still more to Dinosaur Park - this place has a Dino Lab where scientists are depicted examining the dinosaur eggs and studying behavior of these creatures as well as a Dinosaur Museum that displays replicas of dinosaur skeletons. Catering to family entertainment are the dinosaur themed rides and games while another interesting feature is the Dino Mine where one has to scavenge and find Dinosaur fossils - A real treat for curious young minds! I then visited the 'Eco-Friendly ART Park' made up of thousands of recyclable small bottles, ceramic dishes and CDs. A lot of emphasis is laid on imagination in the form of creations made up of different types of recyclable materials thereby conveying a strong message to take care of our planet through 'saving energy, environmental sustainability and waste reduction'. Aditi Gandhi and Sainath Manikandan Young Times Panelist If you want to have the feel Polar climate in the middle of the desert then Ice Park is a must visit with realistic ice sculptures of the creatures who once lived in the polar caps. Garden Glow is the ultimate fun place to be! It is a fantastic way to increase our knowledge, nurture and develop effective learning as well as boost our brain power - all integrated so that children can enjoy as they learn. For me, the journey through Garden Glow was immensely magical and an experience I shall always treasure!
