Tuesday marks the opening of the 21st season of Global Village, the region's first multicultural festival park. This season Global Village will be welcoming its guests from the 1st of November 2016 until the 8th of April 2017 under the theme of "A New World Everyday", over 159 days of exciting surprises.
Over their journey of 21 seasons, Global Village has managed to provide entertainment of the highest standards to an international scale, and in doing so has established itself as one of the most prominent family destinations for entertainment and culture internationally.

The guests of Global Village are awaiting the 21st season's lineup of scheduled events ranging from concerts by international stars, to cultural dance shows and international award-winning shows that will be performed by over 50 internationally recruited performers, all of which are included in Global Village's entry ticket, adding value to guests' experiences at no additional costs.
On Friday, the 4th of November Abdullah Bil Khair, the Emirati superstar, will be the first celebrity hosted at Global Village for their 21st season while the Indian singing sensation, Sunidhi Chauhan, will be taking the stage the following week on the 11th of November. Guests will also get to enjoy the performances of 'Park Life' and 'Movies Live' which will use audio and visual stimuli and acrobats. These shows, along with the cultural shows at each pavilion and the returning street entertainment, will ensure that guests will catch a glimpse of entertainment no matter where they are at Global Village.
For it's 21st season, Global Village is offering a unique shopping experience. Guests will be able to purchase authentic souvenirs that reflect their respective countries' culture and heritage. This season, Global Village will represent over 75 countries across 30 pavilions, including the new Algeria pavilion, the Far East pavilion which will represent (the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and Indonesia), as well as the East Europe pavilion which has Serbia, Romania, and Ukraine as participants. Also, the Jordan pavilion will be returning from the 19th season.
The shopping experience at Global Village is one-of-a kind since it combines many foreign cultures in one place, and gives guests insight into participating countries by exhibiting items that reflect upon their cultures and heritage.
Furthermore, Global Village will take guests on a unique journey through cuisine. With more than 150 restaurants, cafes and kiosks, Global Village offers are unique in its culinary offerings, giving guests the option between both an international street-food experience as well as international dine-in options, such as Galito's, the South African restaurant and Wok in a Box, the Asian restaurant. The list also includes Reem Al Bawadi, Istanbul Flower Restaurant, Maraheb, Bab Tuma, and many other international dining choices.
For its 21st season Global Village aims to promote an atmosphere of joy and happiness. Global Village is welcoming its guests from the 1st of November 2016 until the 8th of April 2017 from 4pm-12am from Saturday-Wednesday and 4pm-1am on Thursdays and Fridays, as well as on public holidays, while Mondays are dedicated to families and ladies only.
