Dubai - The garden is currently offering free entry tickets to students visiting the Children's City in Dubai.

The Dubai Garden Glow is offering discounted and free tickets for school students to attract them to its edutainment activities.
The entry fee to the garden at the Zabeel Park with the theme "Art by Day.Glow by Night" is Dh60 for all above three years of age.
The garden is currently offering free entry tickets to students visiting the Children's City in Dubai. It is tying up with schools to offer 50 percent discount (Dh30) for an educational tour at the garden during the daytime.
It also offers free entry tickets for all special needs children and their attendants.
The partnership with the Children's City was launched on February 11, which marked the Special Needs Day, a day dedicated to people with disabilities.
The promotion that ran through the week-long Carnival of Science at the Children's City will now be extended to the end of the first week of March, the Dubai Garden Glow has said.
"Dubai Garden Glow handed out free tickets to all the students and participants of the Science Carnival last week and will continue doing so this week and in the first week of March, 2016.
Further, we are running an education tour programme at Dubai Garden Glow and are inviting all schools to participate in the highly enriching programme and will offer students a 50% discount during the day."
"The sole objective of this exercise is to get them to visit the park, edutain them about recycled products and conduct workshops. The workshops planned in March will include handicrafts made with recycled products," it added.
A spokesperson clarified that the discounted tickets to students can be used only when they come through their school for the education tour during the day.
Chanchal Samanta, the director of The Retailers Investment which has developed and runs the garden for the Dubai Municipality, said the partnership with the schools and the Children's City aims to encourage students to visit the park and understand the significance of reducing waste and using recycled products.
"The tour to the park itself is edutaining. We also plan to hold workshops to enable students make utility handicrafts with our crew of dedicated artisans. This initiative paves the way for a smarter, greener, brighter future for the kids. To encourage the students by offering them a special concession along with free entry tickets for all special needs children and their attendant," she said.
Naila Rashid Al Mansoory, the head of Children's City, said: "We are in the process of working out various engaging activities that include a trip to the park or conduct workshops with the prime focus of reduce waste and use recycled products."
