Paying tribute to Dubai's heroes on the frontlines of Covid-19 battle, a mall operator is giving health workers Dh100 gift cards, special discounts, free movie tickets, and more.
With its #ThankOurLocalHeroes initiative - which will run throughout June - Nakheel Malls is handing out the special gifts to all the employees of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS).
Freebies and exclusive deals can be availed of at Nakheel Mall, The Pointe, Ibn Battuta Mall and Dragon Mart.
To receive their Dh100 Nakheel Malls Gift Card, the health workers just have to present their DHA /DCAS employment card at customer service desks. They can also use their employment to get discounts at shops and restaurants.
"Thank Our Local Heroes complements the DHA's #ThankyouHeroes campaign, and is our way of acknowledging the dedication of those at the forefront of treating people in need and protecting our citizens, residents and communities in the fight against Covid-19. We would like to give back to the people who continue to work tirelessly through this unprecedented situation," said Omar Khoory, managing director of Nakheel Malls.
