Shoppers are gearing up for the ultimate jewellery experience, as Dubai International Jewellery Week, the Middle East's most distinguished jewellery event, opens today, just in time for the festive season.
Now in its 20th year, the four-day jewellery extravaganza will return to Dubai World Trade Centre, or DWTC from December 9-12, featuring collections from over 300 exhibitors from 25 different countries.
Shoppers can expect to see over 140,000 jewellery pieces from around the world and 50,000 of these pieces will be featured for the first time in Dubai. Precious stones, diamonds, pearls and watches are just some of the show-stopping items on display. One-of-a-kind pieces will also be making their debut at the event, ensuring that there are beautiful pieces available for every budget and every occasion.
"As we celebrate the landmark 20th anniversary of Dubai International Jewellery Week, we are thrilled to see international and local jewellers present their latest designs and most sought after collections during the event. Dubai has long been known as a world-class centre for luxury shopping, and we're excited to welcome both exhibitors and shoppers alike through our doors." said Trixie LohMirmand, senior vice-president, Exhibitions & Events Management, Dubai World Trade Centre.
