The Dubai Metro has resumed to normal service after two technical glitches affected its operation on Thursday evening.
"RTA announces that Dubai Metro is operating normally now. We thank all metro users for their cooperation," the Roads and Transport Authority tweeted.
Earlier the Emirates Towers Metro station was hit by a technical glitch an hour after resolving a malfunction that affected several stations.
"Dubai Metro services in Emirates Towers Station has been affected on the red line. Alternate bus service has been deployed between Jafiliya and Business Bay stations," the RTA tweeted.
RTA announces that Dubai Metro services in Emirates Towers Station on the Red Line is affected.Metro passengers reported they were stuck at the various Metro stations for almost one hour on Thursday night.
Alternate Bus services have been deployed between Al Jafliya and Business Bay stations.
