The Dubai Traffic police have made a comprehensive plan to organise traffic at Dubai Parks and Resorts, said Brigadier Saif Mohair Al Mazroui, director of the Dubai Traffic department.
Brigadier Al Mazroui, accompanied by Juma Salem bin Sweidan, director of events and activities at the traffic department, visited Dubai Parks and Resorts to develop the necessary traffic plans and study the traffic situation at the location.
They met with Ahmed Al Ramsi, director of security at the resort, to discuss the plans, the countless streets surrounding the resort and its intersections, entry and exit points, in order to draw a common action mechanism, provide traffic patrols and controllers, and facilitate the entry and exit of vehicles to and from the resort. They also discussed exit plans for the public, in the event of congestion.
Al Mazroui also pointed that the manpower and patrols and vehicular equipment supplied were increased to regulate the traffic at the resort.
The Traffic Department is also increasing the number of traffic sergeants patrolling the resort area, to reduce congestion and traffic jams that result from poor motorist behaviour and failure to follow traffic rules. Patrol officers to check traffic accidents and traffic patrols to monitor the roads and ensure driver compliance to traffic rules have also been deployed. These will focus on the dangerous irregularities by drivers, especially at the important intersections at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
Al Mazroui also called on road users and drivers to abide by traffic rules for their own safety, and to cooperate with the police to make Dubai Parks and Resorts easier to access and keep it a ?safe place.
Dubai Parks and Resorts comprises of three theme parks: Bollywood ParksT Dubai a first-of-its-kind theme park that will showcase rides and attraction based on some of Bollywood's biggest blockbusters.
MOTIONGATET Dubai - a unique theme park showcasing some of Hollywood's most beloved characters from DreamWorks Animation, Sony Pictures Studios and Lionsgate as well as the region's first LEGOLAND® Park and a LEGOLAND® Water Park.
The entire destination will be connected by RiverlandT Dubai - a retail and dining destination at the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts, and guests can stay at the LapitaT Hotel, a Polynesian themed family hotel part of the Marriott Autograph® Collection. Expected to open in late 2019, Six Flags Dubai will be the destination's fourth theme park and the region's first Six Flags theme park.
