A car was pulled out by the rescue teams of Dubai Police after it slid into the sea at Umm Suqeim port, Al Bayan reported on Wednesday.
The motorist, a European, was trying to launch his jet-ski into the sea when he lost control of his vehicle and the car slid into the water, said Lt Col Ali Abdullah Al Qaseeb Al Naqbi, the director of Maritime Rescue at Port Police Station. The motorist escaped unhurt in the incident that took place at 1.22pm.
The police teams were able to pull out the car using special equipment, Al Naqbi added.
