If you think when you visit a trampoline park you will just show up and jump, think again. Flip Out Dubai will teach flips and tricks to its visitors at the largest trampoline park in Middle East to be opened soon in the emirate.
"Our staff will comprise primarily former gymnasts, trampolining specialists and parkour athletes. The entire brand and venue is edgy, cool and grungy - kids and adults alike are going to love it," said Zohaib Ali, director, Flip Out Middle East and North Africa.
Dubai will soon open gates for Australia-based Flip Out which is targeting kids, teenagers, young adults and parents. Flip Out Dubai is spread over 4,000 square metres of space and is the largest trampoline park in the Middle East. The facility has over 200 interconnected trampolines with 10 trampoline-based attractions including many that are completely new to the city, such as our double-decker kids trampoline arena, Trampoline Football and Wall Runners in 3D. Flip Out Dubai will also house two fully immersive, themed Archery Tag fields - another first for Dubai.
"There is a growing and burgeoning entertainment industry in Dubai yet the city still lacks fresh, new indoor entertainment centres. Two-thirds of the city's population is under 34 and there's also a massive tourism industry. Dubai is a melting pot of so many nationalities and as the emirate is expanding there is increasing demand for entertainment options for various demographics of society," added Ali. With the worryingly high obesity rates amongst young people in the region the company offers an alternative form of entertainment that is fun, value for money and open throughout the year. "If you want to stay healthy and fit but don't like the gym, jumping on a trampoline has tremendous health benefits. We'll also be offering yoga, pilates and aerobics classes along with rebounding, which is a specific fitness for trampolines. We're not just for kids; no matter what your age, Flip Out Dubai is about having a great time," said Ali.
"We always incorporate a 'local' feel into every Flip Out facility - this makes us very different to any other trampoline park. Every one of our facilities is different - we always start with a blank canvas and design everything from scratch. For example, in Dubai we've been working with a fantastic local graffiti artist, Ramy El Zaghawy, who has produced some amazing and unique urban artwork on the venue's walls."
Flip Out is also exploring multiple other locations in Dubai and across the UAE also Saudi Arabia, the wider GCC and across the Middle East are under focus. "The possibilities are huge in the Mena region. We've already identified locations in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Pakistan and a number of other facilities are slated to open later this year. Our goal is to have the entire Mena region painted Flip Out green within the next two years," said Ali.
Flip Out started in a Western Sydney car park in December 2012 and now has expanded to 45 facilities - 39 in Australia and six across the rest of the world in Mexico, Taiwan, Malaysia, UK and New Zealand with more coming soon, Dubai being the 46th park. Future facilities are being explored in multiple countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
