Dubai's Global Village silver jubilee season to begin on October 25

Ready to return for its silver jubilee season this year, Global Village promises that it will provide the 'best park experience' to all its guests despite challenges arising from the Covid-19 pandemic. As early as now, it already has all the safety marks it needs to assure everyone that - it is safe to come and enjoy the park starting October 25.

The multicultural attraction announced its return for Season 25 with a video post on Twitter, depicting the best in entertainment, shopping and leisure opportunities. It is slated to run until April 2021 with ticket prices unchanged at Dh15 per person for the 2020-21 edition.
The wellbeing of guests is a top priority for this silver jubilee, with the family destination already recognised as the first theme park in the world to earn the 'Sword of Honour' from the British Safety Council for its high standards of safety management.
Global Village has also received the 'Dubai Assured Stamp' awarded by Dubai Municipality, Dubai Economy and Dubai Tourism (DTCM) in light of the stringent preparations for the opening.
Although Covid-19 has prompted the closure or suspension of visits to public attractions in recent months, Dubai has been at the forefront of putting a robust health and safety strategy in place to help establishments reopen responsibly.
A representative for Global Village told Khaleej Times that more details about specific protocols would become available closer to the opening date, assuring the public that all international and local guidelines were being followed to provide "the best guest experience".
"Our 25th anniversary is a great milestone for us and the teams are working hard to make this year very special. We also feel that this is an important message for the country and the region. Over the years, we have become a mainstay for family entertainment across the region, and we are proud to be able to play an important role in driving the 'open for business' message," said Bader Anwahi, Chief Executive Officer, Global Village.
The festival park is targeting a footfall of over seven million visitors this year, and has opened registrations for more than 2,000 opportunities to investors.
It is best known for its celebration of diversity and multiculturalism, with over 3,500 shopping outlets from more than 78 countries - as well as over 20,000 entertainment and cultural shows.
Running for 25 weeks this year, visitors will, for the first time in many years, be able to enjoy Ramadan at the park - including the opportunity to sample world cuisines for Iftar.
The return of the attraction promises to provide a much-anticipated respite in the midst of the ongoing pandemic for tourists and residents alike.
