While congratulating the Egyptian community here on the occasion of the 64th Egypt National Day, top diplomats on Monday said that marking the event "here in the UAE really matters".
According to them, Egypt will also overcome the ongoing challenges, including the current economic hitches.
Speaking to Khaleej Times on the sidelines of celebrations to mark the National Day also called July 23 Revolution, the Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE Wael Gad said the challenge is enormous, divergent, and varied.
The Egypt National Day falls on every July 23 to commemorate the establishment of the Republic and the end of the monarchy.
'Good chance to thank UAE, its leadership' Congratulating the Egyptian community on the occasion, the envoys said, marking the event here in the UAE really matters. "It is a good chance to express our profound appreciation to the UAE leadership and people for their tireless support to Egypt." Such unique allegiance crowns the bilateral historic relations that have been founded and nurtured by the late Shaikh Zayed bin sultan Al Nahyan, El Bedewy said. "We are really thankful to the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Their Highnesses The Rulers of the UAE for their support." The event saw the presence of Shaikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director General of Dubai Media Department, along with a number of ambassadors, consuls, diplomats, senior officials and dignitaries. |
