Authorities put out a massive blaze that erupted in a furniture upholstery factory in Umm Al Quwain on Friday morning. No injuries were recorded.
In a video shared by the emirate's official media office, thick black smoke can be seen billowing from the area in an industrial zone.
The warehouse was completely gutted, with all its roofs caving in. Trees in the area were also torched.

Firefighters could be seen battling the flames, authorities rushed to the site and evacuated the area. In the video below, firefighters, donning yellow hats and protective gear, can be seen battling a big blaze behind the boundary wall of a factory. Huge clouds of black smoke rise from the raging fire as firefighters hose the place down.

Multiple fire trucks, backhoes and a fireman lift were used to successfully contain and extinguish the big blaze.
The Civil Defence managed to control the fire from spreading to nearby warehouses and put out the blaze by afternoon.
