The Sharjah Police are investigating the death of a 37-year-old Nepalese man whose body was found hanging from the ceiling of his company office located in Industrial Area No. 2. They are currently questioning the management officials of the firm and the co-workers of the deceased.
The police said they found the body of the man, who was in his work uniform, hanging from the ceiling with a plastic cord. They also found his mobile phone beside his body. The police team collected evidence from the crime scene and shifted the body to a forensic laboratory.
The police said they had received a call at the operations room at 5:12am from the company's manager, who reportedly found the body when he arrived at the office. A team comprising officers from forensic laboratory, CID, patrol and crime scene departments was immediately dispatched to the site.
