Two Asian workers died and two others were left seriously injured in a group fight in a dispute over bootlegging, the Sharjah Police have said. The fight was reported from Al Sajjah industrial area.
The deceased, aged 35 and 42, died on the spot after they received blows in the head. They died of internal bleeding. The police said the workers used iron bars and sticks in the fight.
On being notified, the police rushed to the spot. The injured were taken to Al Kuwaiti Hospital, where they were admitted in the ICU. The police have arrested many of those involved in the fight, and have launched a manhunt for the others.
