Fire breaks out in Dubai building

Dubai - No casualties have been reported.

A fire broke out late Friday evening in a building in Dubai's Tecom area. It was put out shortly. There were no casualties.
According to a Khaleej Times journalist who was present at the spot, the fire broke out in Al Shaiba Towers on the 19th floor, but was rapidly contained before it could spread out of control.
Residents of the 32-storey building were immediately evacuated by police and civil defence personnel.
While the fire has been put out, residents are not being allowed back inside.
