Ajman - It allows patrol members to make a voice call on all the different radio frequencies, in 25 different languages

As part of its efforts to implement the strategy of Ministry of Interior, Ajman Police on Tuesday launched the first responder patrol vehicle for quick responses in emergencies, in order to effectively save lives without delay.
Major-General Shaikh Sultan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, said that the first responder vehicle, equipped with a radio, allows patrol members to make a voice call on all the different radio frequencies, in 25 different languages. It can also relay six different messages to alert motorist to the presence of the police patrol to make room from a distance of 400 circular metres, in order to aid the patrol to reach the scene of the incident at the quickest.
Major-General Al Nuaimi is making advancements to increase security and safety in the emirate and to use advanced and modern technologies to cope with the continuous increase in traffic.
The official called on motorists to cooperate with the police patrols in facilitating their smooth movement during emergencies, and play a public role in helping save people injured in road accidents.
